Overnight, the winds will be strong dry Westerly and the freezing level will rise to 1050 metres. During the day, the winds will strengthen, becoming North-Westerly with light snow showers and a freezing level of 900 metres.
Forecasted Snow Stability and Avalanche Hazard
Any new snow will drift and form unstable localised accumulations on mainly East to Southerly aspects in isolated locations mainly above 950 metres, corrie rims and gully exits will be most affected. Elsewhere the snowpack will moisten and will be generally stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate
