all northerly gullies and slopes above 700m with unstable windslab.
unstable cornices will form above many northerly slopes. avalanches

fluctuating temps have helped to consolidate the existing
snowpack.strong s winds and light snow has resulted in localised
deposits of new windslab on high sheltered n facing gullies, where a
category 3 (medium) risk of avalanche exists.

avalanche risk outlook for wed 12/1/94
forecasted continuing strong southerly winds with fresh snow deposits
will result in additional accumulations of windslab on n facing
slopes. where any significant deposits occur a category 4 (high
localised) risk of avalanche will exist.

avalanche risk at 1500 on tue 11/1/94
a generally stable snowpack exists at most levels. some isolated
pockets of fresh unstable snow exist at high altitudes. the avalanche
risk is category 3 (medium localised).

avalanche risk outlook for wed 12/1/94
a forecast of gale force southerly winds and fresh snow, will form
unstable windslab on n and ne facing slopes, where avalanches will
occur. the avalanche risk is expected to rise to category 4 (high).
