Category 4 (High Localised) risk of avalanche. AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR SUN 23/1/94 The severe gale force westerly winds are forecast to continue accompanied by heavy snowfall. This should lead to large accumulations of unstable windslab on E facing slopes, where avalanches will occur. Category 4 (High) risk of avalanche. SUMMARY.
