AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR FRI 11/2/94 An increase in temperature overnight will create thaw conditions at all levels. Wet snow avalanches are likely on all aspects. There will also be a high risk of cornice collapse above eastern slopes. The avalanche risk is expected to be Category 3 (Medium). SUMMARY. However, moderate, primarily S winds may redeposit lying snow as patches of windslab on slopes and gullies of a N aspect, giving a Category 3 (Medium) risk of avalanche. SUMMARY.
