Avalanche Risk Category 4 (High). Avalanche debris was observed below Summit Gully, Stob Coire nam Beith. AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR SAT 19/3/94 Moderate/high snowfall above 300m. and strong NW wind veering N and becoming fresh will widen the cover of windslab, which will exist on slopes of all aspects above 600m, especially in gullies and hollows. Avalanche Risk Category 4 (High). Avalanches will occur where accumulations of windslab are greatest. SUMMARY. Avalanches will occur where deep deposits of windslab exist. Such areas are possible on all slopes above 600m. Avalanche Risk 4 (High). AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR 19/3/94 Forecasted mod/strong NW winds becoming N accompanied by further snowfall is expected to develop windslab primarily on E and SE facing slopes and gullies.Where significant deposits exist avalanches will occur in these areas.
