However large areas of windslab remain on N through to SE facing slopes and gullies. Risk of victim triggered avalanches are likely where deposits are greatest. Avalanche Risk Category 3 (Medium). AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR M0N 21/3/94 Light SE wind and no precipitation the snowpack is not expected to change for the next 24hrs.Windslab is lying on most slopes and gullies. Risk of victim triggered avalanches is still likely where deposits are greatest. Avalanche Risk Category 3 (Medium). SUMMARY Windslab exists on most slopes.Risk of victim triggered avalanches.Avalanche Risk Category 3 (Medium). Category 4 (High) risk of avalanche. The snowpack on slopes of most other aspects is hard and stable. AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR MON 21/3/94 Light NNW winds and light snow showers will continue the build up of poorly stabilised windslab on SE facing slopes until the wind becomes SE (very strong S by Monday pm.) and the snow showers die out. Category 4 (High Localised) risk of avalanche on SE facing slopes but declining later. Patches of marginally stable windslab are possible in sheltered areas of slopes and gullies of NW to N aspects giving a Category 3 (Medium Localised) risk of avalanche in those areas. SUMMARY. Category 4 (High Localised) risk of avalanche on SE facing slopes, declining later. Category 3 (Medium Localised) on NW to N slopes.
