Recent windslab on most steep E aspects is reasonably stabilised with only a few easily avoided areas of moderately stable slab. Category 2 (Low) risk of avalanche. A very large cornice remains over the Lum on Hell's Lum crag, where some ice fall was also observed in warmer conditions later in the day. AVALANCHE RISK OUTLOOK FOR SUN 27/3/94 Forecasted moderate sleet or snow showers during the day and v.strong S winds may lead to the development of accumulations of marginally stable windslab on N facing slopes and gullies.
