Forecasted Weather Influences
Overnight and during the day it will be dry with strong Westerly winds. In the daytime the freezing level will rise from 800 to 900 metres.
Forecasted Snow Stability and Avalanche Hazard
The snowpack will continue to thaw and will become more moist at depth at all levels and aspects. Surface instabilities may occur on all steep aspects mainly above 900 metres. Cornices will be unstable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Observed Weather Influences
It has been a mild day with very strong West to West-North-Westerly winds and poor visibility in the morning. Precipitation fell as snow only on the highest summits. Freezing level around 1100 m.
Observed Snow Stability and Avalanche Hazard
The snowpack is becoming more saturated at all levels. New snow accumulations have formed windslab deposits in isolated areas and hollows on mainly East to Southerly aspects above 1000 metres, here the snow is moderately well bonded. Elsewhere the snowpack is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
